I am always amazed with all the high-tech gadgets in Japan, but this one takes the cake.

No need to go through several sheets of toilet paper. The toilet sprays water to clean your bum while you are sitting on the toilet. This toilet is now standard in new homes in Japan and also in restaurants and shopping malls. (This is a photo of the toilet at the house of Yuya’s parents. They upgraded their toilet a couple years ago.) In the restaurant we went to last night, the toilet in the restroom had an option to air-dry your bum. So cool.

This is why America is so far behind.
